Bob has been in the technology industry since 1972 (when 10 MB drives weighed 200 pounds).  Bob spent his first 10 years in the service and maintenance industry, starting as a data & teletype repair technician. Bob ended his first career as a Vice President of Services for a national manufacturer, supporting a client list that included:

  • Microsoft™
  • GE Calma™
  • System Industries™
  • GE Medical Systems™
Bob was a member of the International Association of Field Service Managers (IAFSM) for over ten (10) years, having led chapters in Boston, Minnesota and Los Angeles (Orange County) and was recognized as International Member of the Year in 1980.
In 1982 Bob transitioned into sales where he has enjoyed a long history of success helping companies of all sizes achieve their business goals with sound technology solutions.  Bob worked initially on the manufacturing side of the market for five (5) years and has spent the last twenty (20) years in the channel. Bob started and sold channel based businesses and guided channel partners growth in geography and product lines. May 2007 Bob formed Converged Network Solutions whose focus is to bring value to technology for all businesses.
Bob attended St. Francis Xavier University (Antigonish, NS, Canada) and Boston College where he studied business and finance. Bob is a member of the Board of Directors at St. Vincent Catholic Charities (Lansing, MI), is a business advisor to Lansing Community College (Lansing, MI), served as business advisor to the Michigan State University Chapter of ASCOT (Associated Students for Career Orientations in Telecommunications), is the current State Program Director for the Michigan Knights of Columbus and is an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society and National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Bob lives in Williamston, MI with his wife and three teen-age children.
